چکیده

Abstract To investigate the effect of cellulose matrix on diffusion and conductivity properties ionogels formed with BMIMCl ionic liquid (IL), two types samples were made micro (CMC) nano (CNC) cellulose. The interactions IL studied by 1 H 13 C NMR solid-state spectroscopy. cation [BMIM] + self-diffusion coefficient was calculated based Fast Field Cycling relaxation measurements. measured thermal scanning conductometry method. spectra at room temperature revealed that in CNC-based ionogel interacts more strongly chain than CMC-based through methyl group end alkyl chain. Despite this, matrix's influence cations' dynamics electrical are comparable both ionogels. is reduced about times 30% compared bulk IL.

Facile Preparation of Highly Crystalline Nanocellulose by Using Ionic Liquid

In recent decades, dependence on fossil fuels resources has shifted into derivation of cellulose based materials to replace the non-renewable resources. Lignocellulosic biomass is the most abundant feedstock on earth and is one of the promising renewable and sustainable resources. In the present study, simple preparation of nanocellulose particles by using ionic liquid (1-butyl-3methylimidazoli...

Squeezout phenomena and boundary layer formation of a model ionic liquid under confinement and charging.

Electrical charging of parallel plates confining a model ionic liquid down to nanoscale distances yields a variety of charge-induced changes in the structural features of the confined film. That includes even-odd switching of the structural layering and charging-induced solidification and melting, with important changes of local ordering between and within layers, and of squeezout behavior. By ...

Liquid Spreading under Nanoscale Confinement.

Dynamic atomic force microscopy in the noncontact regime is used to study the morphology of a nonvolatile liquid (squalane) as it spreads along wettable nanostripes embedded in a nonwettable surface. Results show that the liquid profile depends on the amount of lateral confinement imposed by the nanostripes, and it is truncated at the microscopic contact line in good qualitative agreement with ...

Ionic Equilibrium and the Electrical Conductivity in Thundercloud

The electtical conductivity existing in electrified clouds is computed under the assumption that a primary positive dipole charge distribution exists within the cloud and that the small ion concentrations are controlled by the rate of ion production from cosmic ray ionization, and by the rates of ion loss from the separate processes of ion recombination, diffusion, and conduction. The results s...

Anomalous electrical conductivity behavior at elevated pressure in the protic ionic liquid procainamide hydrochloride.

Using broadband dielectric spectroscopy, we investigated the effect of hydrostatic pressure on the conductivity relaxation time τ{σ} of the supercooled protic ionic liquid, procainamide hydrochloride, a common pharmaceutical. The pressure dependence of τ{σ} exhibited anomalous behavior in the vicinity of the glass transition T{g}, manifested by abrupt changes in activation volume. This peculiar...
